8 random things...

Jessica tagged me for a meme! I thought I had already done this one, but turns out it was just six weird things, so I'm sure there are at least eight more random things to let you in on.

First, the rules (Yea! See random fact number one) :

1) Post these rules before you give your facts
2) List 8 random facts about yourself
3) At the end of your post, choose (tag) people and list their names, linking to them
4) Leave a comment on their blog, letting them know they’ve been tagged
  • Number one: I LOVE rules. I wouldn't know what to do without them. No one would. I have given up on pointing out to others when they aren't following the rules, though. Not a single person ever thanked me for showing them the error of their ways.

  • Number two: I also LOVE (it's more serious when it's all caps) bulleted lists. (The non-bulleted version will do if and when bullets aren't available.) Very direct. Very efficient. Very bullet-y.

  • Number three: I like making up words...like bullet-y.

  • Number four: I dislike strongly when people are redundant and repeat themselves all the time. (Get it...that was a blatantly redundant sentence.) There should be a rule against redundancy and everyone should follow it or...or...or...I dunno...get a fine or something. (It's not my job to make the rules...I just gladly follow them.)

  • Number five: I was on one of those makeover TV shows once. It was called Ambush Makeover. The reruns still come on the Style Network, so you should tune in if you want to see me look like a total idiot with blonde hair and an obscene amount of make-up. Seriously, I was probably responsible for the deaths of an entire family of whales that day.

  • Number six: At night, I pray with my eyes open. I always have. I'm afraid that if my eyes are closed, I'll fall asleep. Or maybe God will think I did. (Obviously, I realize now that God will know whether or not I'm asleep. Some habits are hard to break.)

  • Number seven: And speaking of habits...I bite my fingernails. Until my fingers are bloody. All the time. Since forever. I could probably stop, but I don't really see the need. Well, I do wish we had been able to have one of those ring photos from our wedding...

  • Number eight: I was the Prom Queen. And Jared was the King. And you will never see a picture.

I'm not tagging anyone (wait, is that against the rules??) because I'm pretty sure all of my blogging friends have done this already. If you haven't, feel free to do it, but please leave a comment letting us know, so we can check it out.

OMG, you were on Ambush Makeover??? I've seen a few episodes of that show! I am surprised, though because you certainly don't need it! What the heck were those people thinking?!

Ok, you got me all curious now. You really should bust out your Prom King and Queen pics!

First off...I'm sure I could find a picture of you and Jared at prom. I believe Adam's yearbook is in our guest closet :) I'll hold it randsom for now! On a side note, Adam was saying that he thinks you guys 10 year reunion is this year during Yamboree... I think we are going to try to go. You should too... how fun would that be if I actually knew someone!

Secondly, I really should pray with my eyes open. I wake up so many mornings thinking did I finish praying?

Lastly, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! You are such a sweet mamma to share your bday with your baby girl. Hope the party goes smoothly.
