A round of applause

Yesterday was a huge day! First, Eleanor learned to clap. She saw another baby clapping at the mall, and then she did it. Now, there's no stopping her. I think it's the cutest thing ever, of course.

She also pushed her shopping cart. I have to hold the shopping cart with her- otherwise, the shopping cart would move too fast, and the poor gal would fall right onto her little, baby noggin'.
At the end of the shopping cart video, she gets frustrated and says, "Ama" (her version of mama), which means "Mommy, pick me up please." It works every time, and she's got that all figured out. (The shopping cart video is sideways because of Daddy's awesome cinematography skills. Hey, you can't have everything.)

You can put velcro on the wheels, and they stick to the carpet and don't roll so fast - until she gets the hang of it, that might help!
