The living room

Thanks for the nice comments about Eleanor's room. I have to admit we were very happy with the way it turned out. And, yes, those beautiful hardwoods were hiding beneath old, smelly, disgusting carpet. What were those people thinking??

Here's the living room. We still have a few little things to do, but it's mostly finished...

Looking good...

Call me crazy, but I think those green curtains are super cool. Do you still have them?

Are you keeping the green linoleum in the kitchen? I also thought that stuff was pretty sweet. As uncool as linoleum is, the pattern rocks. At least I think it did anyways. I didn't look that closely.

Looks great!!! Again I LOVE the wood floors and the no paneling. The best part was the curtains being gone!

Keep up the great work. Can't wait to see the kitchen.

It is really showing how hard you have been working and it will totally pay off way down the line when you sell. Amazing!

Wow, I think that's amazing! I can't believe that wood floor was being covered up! Eleanor's room also looks super cute.

Megan, your house is AWESOME!!!! It's like you "Flipped" your house! (Love that show, btw). Anyway, Eleanor's room is beautiful as well!

Robin- I do still have the drapes if you really want them. Their life expectancy is very short, so you better speak soon! :)

Lisa- There will not be kitchen pictures anytime soon. Kitchen redos cost tons of money, and we're a little short in that department right now. So, long live formica and linoleum!!!

Megan!@ I absolutely LOVe IT!! Why would anyone hide those floors under carpet!? They are gorgeous, though I am sure you put some work into them after pulling up carpet. The rooms you have done so far are unbelievable. You guys are awesome. Want to come help me decorate sometime!!??

I love the colors in your house! It seems alive and full of character! I can barely believe these are the same rooms. Eleanor's room rocks, I think I want to sleep there! You have showed us another one of your talents and as usual, I'm impressed! I'm glad you're keeping your linoleum, it will keep you humble!

The only thing you need to keep in that house is your sweet baby, she is perfect, no need for any improvements!

Stay blessed!

Nah, I don't want them. I think the window looks way better without the curtains, but I just thought the pattern was cool.
